I am writing this complaint standing in queue @ TD branch at 96 Ave 128 street. It's raining and and 35 customers are infront of me just outside the entrance door. I am in queue for last 17 minutes. Bank doesn't have enough staff to deal the clientele bank have. The same situation I noticed couple days befor I visit the bank. The out side temperature was -4 degrees that day.

I was to have an appointment by phone and the appointment was confirmed. The appointment did not take place as the bank employee did not call. The following day I called and left a message with her, when she returned my call later that day, it was like nothing happened, she started talking about something else, when I asked her what happened about my appointment that had been scheduled her reply was "I don't know what happened" twice she said this, no apology and she started in about my mothers banking, which I am POA I Instructed her what to do and that I was not looking at doing any investments, as this was the icing on the cake, and I am seriously looking at doing my banking elsewhere, since my previous Financial Advisor has left, I have no loyalty to the TD, being a past employee of TD for over 20 years I know their expectations and this was well below TD's standard, and mine as well.

Terrible place to do business. Spoke to a representative there Wednesday morning who was to return my call with important information. Her name is Briget... NEVER RETURNED MY CALLED. All government places of business were closed Thursday, VETERAN'S DAY! TODAY IS FRIDAY. 10 AM, STILL NO CALL!! NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE...I'M GUESSING THE BANK IS CLOSED TODAY AS WELL. After a no telephone answer condition at the local branch and waiting on hold for ten minutes for an answer at a national? help line call center only to have to assist them in finding my local branch by looking up and providing a zip code for them, I was finally able to be to be connected to the (my?) branch office ten miles away from my physical location. A new low in customer service from the depths reached the last time I tried to interact with an actual human life form there. Not good TD Bank. I have for some reason been doing business with you and the banks that came before you, one acquisition after another for some 45 years. The definition of insanity? Probably so, I blame my wife though as she refuses to let me, let you go and even continues to give you an interest free ongoing loan via our no interest paid checking account that she keeps an unnecessarily large balance in. You would think the least you could do would be to answer the phone?

Sandra, management at TD bank on Wounderland did NOT want to deposit ny endorsed cheque that my husband signed and went inside the bank with me. When i called my bank they advised absolutely NOT an issue that i may bring his gouvernement cheque in and have this deposited. Reason of why we went into the bank was to retreive part of the amount, in which we had deposited one gouvernement cheque two weeks prior and they froze my account cause i had deposited at a guichet. The bank froze this account for a week. So this was the reason why when we were told even from the counter person whom was serving us that there is no isssue. Personally your management SANDRA needs a new course on customer service on how to deal with clients and needs a refresh on how to educate her employees and give the correct information to clients. I will NOT be keeping this account, for in my experience once I get one bad experience I move on ive been with td over 10 years and I will be gladly moving on and I will advise my family and CO WORKERS and MY employees not to go to TD for you don't have your ducks in a row!!!!

I have been a preferred customer of TD bank for 50 years and had multiple mortgages over the years and know all the staff personally . The manager Josh is a complete loser and has no time for his customers and tries to pass work to everyone else. I have been in relationship with manager and bought presents for there Christmas parties . I spent over a hour with a staff member trying to set up a e transfer . No one seems to know anything there and the Branch manager is rarely there I am very close to close my accounts with TD as I am getting no customer service there.,

Very very poor customer service I have been treated rudely on more than one occasion by not only tellers but by the bank managers themselves The bank managers position is to try and make things happen not just outright refuse to do a transaction sometimes a little common sense goes along way in finding a solution to any problem I understand that there are policies in place for reasons I had an issue with an ICBC refund check which had my lessors name on it as well i drove 60 minutes to downtown Vancouver to have it endorsed by the lessor as stated by ICBC Then drove back for 60 minutes to my branch and was outright denied the check being cashed I just wanted to deposit the $189.00 dollars into my account Straight no from the very rude manager and was expected to drive back downtown to have it stamped I even asked her to look up the leasing company and give them a call .she straight out refused to do this instead opting to put me out I called the other branch in maple ridge and the cheerfully deposited my check for me after i informed them of my issues with the other branch Will be using the 203rd branch moving forward all i can say now is Shame on the manager at the 227th location you really need to learn some customer service skills

The only bad experience I have here is from one employee. Everytime I have to come into my bank I pray I dont see her or have her as a teller. I went in one day to cash a cheque, the teller Sabrina stopped in the middle of the transaction and call another women her age over to show her what ws on her screen (after pulling up my account). She started conversing and pointing out my nails to her coworker and proceeded to laugh and chatter in my face. I had my nails done that day nothing out of the ordinary. Everytime I go in she is rude and unproffesional I wish they would fire her already.

I have been a customer for many years paid my mortgage in full, and still I received rude behavior abrasive on 2 accounts. Also with service overall, I’m dissatisfied. On a couple of occasions I had to deal with Bank of Montreal, because TD could not meet my needs nor were they willing to negotiate. BOM surpassed my expectations, and I can say they deserve my business. The teller that was serving me was Sylvia. She stated she was going to send me an email for service review. She didn’t. I almost feel she was testing the waters to see if she should send it. Could be a stretch, but that was my genuine impression. Also please tell your tellers to stop trying to up sale me. I find it annoying. JGC

TD is the most difficult bank I have ever dealt with! I am now on my 3rd day of trying to open an online account for my wife and I am still not done. Now they told us we have to go to their branch in person to register You know what! we are going to their branch alright to close the freakin account!!!!!!!!

I'm not surprised at the low ratings TD Bank is getting, I have been trying to get through to the bank for one month now by phone, and despite hours and hours of hearing repetitive music crackling on my phone, I have yet to get an answer. Seriously, does anyone work at the TD Bank and Queen East and Lee. Prove me wrong and answer your phones or hiring more people. Disappointed client.

The personnel at the Lynnfield street branch are the best, and very professional. The red headed teller John has helped me numerous times, and he is now my go to teller. I love the Lynnfield street site much better than Cross street and Main street branches. Also Dunkin is next door for my morning latte.

Carlos Mitehell TD Bank Manager located at 275 W. Merrick Road Valley Stream, NY 11580 decided to close my bank card twice. My TD Bank card was closed twice because Carlos stated I didn't have the correct phone number on file. As it turns out, Carlos wanted me to sign a Federal New Accout Form that states that Carlos will be sharing my personal information with third party companies. I felt very unsafe and at risk for fraud within the TD Team, so I will be canceling my TD Banking Account shortly. During a Pandemic Carlos was concerned about the correct phone number on file. I went to work late and took time away from my family in order to visit the TD Bank twice to correct such findings. Please address this issue according, so this doesn't happen in the future. Over the last 46 years; I have experienced 4 blunders as they affected my finances. 1. In 1998, I had placed a phone call to T.D. to make a last ditch contribution to my existing R.R.S.P's. The call centre was located in the Philippines. When I spoke to the operator, as nice as she was, she couldn't barely speak a lick of English; so as a result she mixed up my instructions and took out the money and instead of depositing my funds from my checking account. So; the result being, instead of breaking even or making a dollar or two, I ended up paying taxes, which is what I was trying to avoid. The second mishap was when I purchased a vacation package over the phone. The advertised vacation package was left on the copier at work; so I called the company to investigate. It sounded too incredible, but since the offer came in at work, I figured it must have some legitimacy. THE fellow immediately requested my Visa card information as he said the trip is 99% sold out. So; I complied...then he hung up! I called back to the number that was on the phone, but there was no answer. The guy just charged me $600. Immediately, I ran to my bank and informed them of the whole scenario. The then manager, said ...no need to worry Mr. Kyle; we will put through a refund for you and it will take 48 to 72 hours before the funds are returned. I checked my Visa account everyday, and noticed that there was nothing positive happening. A week later I went back to speak with the manager to express my concerns and he explained, once you give that number out, we are not responsible for it. I then clamoured, but I thought my card was protected against this type of fraudulent transactions. "Nope" you're on your own. That was that. #3 Last May of 2020. Once a year I usually change up my Visa Gold Card along with my debit card for security purposes. In addition to this, I don't do any online banking either. When I recieved my new card and the statement that later followed, I noticed that the statement didn't reflect the payments that I had made on the old card. I called T.D. Canada (the easy line), and they stated that not to worry, that the next statement will probably reflect a more up to date balance. So; I skipped paying that month a month for which I had 3 Brother in laws pass away and one sister in law given 24 hours to live with Brain Cancer. Our house was struck by hail and the property was severely damaged ($70, 000) worth, and I still didn't see any of the payments that I made on my billing statement. I then went to use my credit card one day for a small $100 purchase and it was rebuked! So; I called the T.D. bank and went through all my payments and finally got it all straightened away after much toiling. #4 October of 2020. I am now requiring my home insurance company (intact) to send me a cheque so that I can get some much needed restorations done. Intact communicated to me that they still have T.D.'s name on the title. I said but that's impossible, I paid it all out in June of 2015. $133 thousand dollars. Well it's still there she said. So; I went down to my bank, only to find out that the former manager decided to keep T.D.'s name on the title so as to avoid any possible identity theft. WHAT?? Yes that's what I suggest. Since then, I have spoke to several T.D. employee's and that was a first to them. Now that's over 5 years ago; and apparently he had my name on a "line of credit document" which I knew absolutely nothing about. I mean...I never received any documents sent to me stating as such. Not a SINGLE ONE! So; where he came up with this is beyond me. I'm getting all this from an administrator at the Mckenzie bank branch. After explaining to the administrator that I require a letter removing T.D. entire interest in my property, she then explained that won't happen. You will have to wait 30 days for such a letter to arrive, after I close this account. Fast forward now to 26 days later, I get a strange document that arrives in my mail box. It's a letter stating that everything is $0 on my line of credit. So; I called up the administrator, and asked is this the letter that I"m supposed to send to Intact. I don't know. I said well it's only one page allow me then to read it to you. So I did. She then was dumbfounded and still didn't know. I asked her, well have you not ever dealt with one of these closure letters before, do you not have these standard forms in your system? She then replied only in the backroom. What is the back room? Like how am I supposed to know this? You don't even know it or recognise it yourself Why can't you simply go to the backroom and ask to look at one I asked? No, because I prefer to do it myself. Well what good is it I asked, if I don't know what to look for and you don't know what it is that I should be looking for? At that point she started getting short and snippy and raising her voice to me. I then said, I'im just trying to make heads or tails out of this, and your not being responsible enough to even identify the document. How do I know for example, that if I sent this off to Intact, that this won't suffice? I don't do I ? She then started actually hollering at me and said that she's been on the phone far too long with me. It was here that phoned me, when indeed I was expecting a call from that branch manager. The branch manager doesn't return her calls I guess. I said well....it was you that called me, hopefully to provide some clarification on what it is that this document that I'm holding is, and what will the other document (if there is still one to come) will look like. Anyway, we were simply chasing each other in circles, and I knew she knew as much or less than I did, and since the Branch manager won't be respectful enough to return calls, then I have no choice but to file complaints and look for a new financial institution after 46 years. There is in my opinion, poor leadership in that bank. Maybe its all over in T.D. I really don't know. But when some young lady calls me and wants to precipitate and vitriolic argument and then raises her voice at me, then that organization has lost my respect . Dignity and respect is something that is earned, it's not automatically a given. This week, I'll be looking for another bank. The manager there is non existent. Whenever there is trouble in any business, one just simply has to take a landscape view from the top down, and you will find your answers.

Anyway, we were simply chasing each other in circles, and I knew she knew as much or less than I did, and since the Branch manager won't be respectful enough to return calls, then I have no choice but to file complaints and look for a new financial institution after 46 years. There is in my opinion, poor leadership in that bank. Maybe its all over in T.D. I really don't know. But when some young lady calls me and wants to precipitate and vitriolic argument and then raises her voice at me, then that organization has lost my respect . Dignity and respect is something that is earned, it's not automatically a given. This week, I'll be looking for another bank. The manager there is non existent. Whenever there is trouble in any business, one just simply has to take a landscape view from the top down, and you will find your answers. Once again, your ATM was not functioning. This is the fifth time in a row that this has happened. Why can’t you keep the ATM at this location working and in good order? I hate going in to this branch as well, due to the staff appearing to be clueless.

Tues afternoon I went to Port Colborne Branch to do a deposit.Entered through lobby to door where usually is greeter whom tells which teller to go to and you sanitize your hands. No one there so I stepped up to do my hands.Dark haired man facing counter at front talking to Bank person on other litterly yelled get back to door,never came and gave directions..Kept on with conversation and was still doing same when I left Branch. When I was waiting after being yelled at a Person from behind counter who heard greeting stepped up and said do hands and come to #2 as he had no customer. Never have been treated like this in this branch before.

Once again there are three drive-through lanes and only two are open and it is 25 minutes before closing. So I get out of the drive-thru line which has seven cars in it and I go home.I looked on the website to write a review and I see that they have lobby hours now which they did not have before.I drive back to the bank and I go to try and get in the lobby and there's a man arguing with a bank person and it says it's open till 4 and I can't get in. What it didn't say on the website is that you have to set a time and check in with them in order to go into the lobby. I can go to the grocery store and I can go to Wawa and I can go to so many other places with my mask on but I can't go to my bank. 47 years as a customer and I can't wait for covid to be over so I can change my bank.

I visited the drive thru this morning and was one of the first clients to be served. I wanted to withdraw money from my mother's account which I am on her account as well. My mother's account is a passbook account and due to COVID -19 , I have been doing been the one assisting with her banking needs. My mother is 82 year old and doesn't drive and reside in another town. I was told by your teller this morning I couldn't withdraw money from the account because I didn't have the passbook even though I had all the proper Id needed. I have been doing her banking without having her passbook in the past and never had an issue especially since COVID-19 . This was very inconvenient and inconsiderate and if this was my personal account I would have closed the account right on the spot!! I went to another branch right after had no issues!! I thought serving the customer is what it is all about! I do have my own account at TD Bank and I am considering closing and going elsewhere after this experience. There was another customer in the drive thru line next to me ans she just shook her head and thought the whole experience was ridiculous as well.

This is a complaint. Earlier today, June 13th, I lost my TD bank card after using the ATM in Sechelt at 10:49 am. Since that hour, I have unsuccessfully tried to report the loss. I did virtual reporting and talked to Trevor and got nowhere with that, either. If my card has been used at any time after 10:49 am June 13th, I want any transactions cancelled. Went here for so many years I wish I had never changed just because of transportation problems. Anytime I had issues it was solved and taken care of immediately! The staff were always friendly and took care of their customers. 20 years with this place! Never should have left!

Never go to this branch. Manager and Assistant manager never there and if they are they will not take any phone calls. If staff tells you that they will call you back, they will not. My requests were ignored which cost me a ton on money. DO NOT RELY ON THEM TO HELP.

I walked in for regular banking needs and was served by Terry Scott. What a lovely lady. She served me in a very friendly but professional manner. She asked me if I was happy with TD. I told her how TD declined my mortgage application to purchase a condo in Edmonton on grounds that TD did not have full confidence in the particular builder I was purchasing from. Thus I got my mortgage from CIBC and moved most of my banking to CIBC. She invited me to return to TD for my mortgage or other needs and assured me they would make every effort to improve my banking experience. I was really impressed with Terry and promised to contact TD next time I need a mortgage. Salim Pabani.
